Today’s Nintendo Direct started off strong, with the reveal of a new main Fire Emblem game. You won’t have to wait long to have it in your hands fire emblem engagement either. It will arrive on Nintendo Switch on January 20.

A thousand years after four kingdoms and heroes from far and wide worked together to imprison a Fallen Dragon, this supposedly great evil is about to rise again. Your task is to collect the Emblem Rings that are scattered all over the world to bring peace to the Continent of Elyos.

Along with the announcement, Nintendo offered a first look at the gameplay. fire emblem engagement it appears to have grid-based real-time strategy elements, along with turn-based battles and open-world exploration. The game will feature a new cast of customizable characters, though you’ll be able to summon heroes like Marth (returning to the Fire Emblem series) and Celica on your quest.
