So far, the list of banned sites includes some of the more well-known ones, including Stake.com, Rollbit.com, Duelbits.com, and Roobet.com. Twitch says it “may identify others” in the future, so the list of banned websites will likely grow. However, the website will continue to allow websites that focus on certain types of betting content, including sports betting, fantasy sports, and poker.
Twitch issued the statement after some of the platform’s most popular streamers, including Pokimane and DevinNash, threatened to boycott it in the Christmas week if it didn’t ban gambling and sponsorships.
